Broke Boys takes place in modern-day America, where chasing a dream to become a filmmaker can be extremely elusive, especially for people of color. The goal is to put that struggle on display from the perspective of black filmmakers, using comedy and drama to connect with the audience.
This series is loosely based on personal experiences so our hearts and souls are poured into this story. The hope is that this series will inspire its viewers to dream and pursue their dreams, no matter the obstacles they may face.
